After his sophomore year in 2014, Chuck transferred to a school in Montgomery, AL, where he became involved in the underground spoken word and music scene. In the winter of his junior year, Chuck purchased a macbook and began producing and recording himself in his dorm room. Over time, he became serious at his craft and dropped his first project entitled ‘Outta The Blue”. Following that release in 2016, in 2017 Chuck released a highly respected, NIMA award nominated project, entitled “iNDigo SZN”. Chuck has since then been making a name for himself on the local and national scene, doing shows from Los Angeles to Raleigh . His project “So(u)liloquy” was released on July 17, 2018, and garnered much praise from his peers and listeners .

AhmadMusic

Brandon Ahmad of AhmadMusic is the fresh, vibrant beacon of light in the world of not only Rhythm and Blues, but Soul, Neo-Soul, Pop, and Hip-Hop – needless to say – his talents are limitless when it comes to the careful crafting of his music and artistry.

Growing up as the youngest of six children living in Detroit, MI wasn’t the lap of luxury for Ahmad. Even though his mother worked long, hard hours to give her family the bare necessities – which he truly appreciates and loves her for – living amongst so many in one household made him appear to be merely a link in the chain of people that surrounded him. He soon left the shadow of his older siblings to live with his grandmother in Bristol, TN where he started to thrive and find his sound until he entered the historically-black college, Fisk University, located in Nashville, TN. His track and field scholarship was his way out of a not-so-ideal childhood, but writing and creating music was what helped him cope through it all.

“My music fills the soul with a healthy dosage of bass, while soothing the heart with beautiful harmonies and melodic cadences.”

Ahmad has continued to reside in “Music City” after graduating from Fisk with a music degree. Constructing music and writing songs are more than a dream for Ahmad, he creates so that the expanses of people who experience his gifted talent are extended an outlet to express their happiness, anger, confusion, and sorrow through musical meditation.

Upcoming artists on the series include Daisha McBride, Krysten Simone, Bammie Davis Jr. , Bryant Taylorr, Tim Gent, Jamiah with DJ's such as AB & Croptop.
